Greenwich Phoenix is calling all Year 7 to Year 11 girls who are passionate about basketball—or just curious to see what they can do on the court! Whether you’ve played before or you’re brand new to the game, this is your chance to train like a baller, meet the coaches, and take your first step into one of the most exciting girls’ basketball programmes in London.

Join us on Saturday 5th July 2025 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at The John Roan School for a high-energy, confidence-building trial session filled with:
🏀 Fun, Fast-Paced Drills – Learn the skills that matter: dribbling, defence, shooting, and movement.
🎯 Live Games – Step into real basketball action with small-sided games and full-court scrimmages.
💬 Meet the Coaches – Get feedback, ask questions, and learn more about joining the Phoenix pathway.
You don’t need to be an expert, just bring your energy, your trainers, and your love for the game.

- Date: Saturday 5th July 2025
- Time: 12:00 – 2:00pm (please arrive by 11:45 AM to check in)
- Location: The John Roan School, Westcombe Park Road, London SE3 7QR
(Access via student entrance and up the fire escape stairs) - Cost: Free – but spaces are limited, so registration is required.
💡 Who Can Attend?
- Girls currently in Year 7–8 will be assessed for our U14 squad
- Girls in Year 9–10 will be considered for our U16 squad
No previous club experience is needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to give it your all.

- Sportswear (T-shirt, shorts or leggings)
- Indoor basketball trainers
- A water bottle
- Your printed or digital ticket confirmation
